Balloon Sinuplasty as a Treatment Plan

Do you suffer from chronic sinus infections?
If so, we are excited to announce that our physicians are performing a minimally invasive procedure for patients who suffer from chronic sinusitis. This new procedure is called Balloon Sinuplasty, and it is very similar to a technique called “angioplasty” that has been extremely successful for patients with heart disease. We perform the procedure in an outpatient surgery center under local anesthesia in the office by inserting a small balloon into the opening of the sinuses. The balloon is inflated to enlarge the sinus openings, allowing for more efficient drainage. The procedure is relatively painless and allows for rapid recovery, with most patients returning to work within one to two days. Not every patient is a candidate for this procedure; however, for many patients, this offers a fast, minimally invasive alternative to traditional surgery. Find out if you are a candidate and schedule your appointment today!
